On May 29, Gallant Ocean was honored to welcome Governor of Guam Lourdes A. Leon Guerrero and her delegation during their first official visit to Kaohsiung. Governor Leon Guerrero toured our facility to gain a closer look at Taiwan’s seafood processing capabilities, with a particular focus on our quality control practices and export operations.

This was Governor Leon Guerrero’s first visit to Taiwan since taking office in 2019. During her visit to Gallant Ocean, she expressed great interest in our processing expertise, packaging standards, and cold chain logistics. We had the opportunity to engage in a warm and productive exchange on potential business collaboration, including seafood trade, product development, and future technical cooperation.

Governor Leon Guerrero highlighted Guam’s abundant marine resources and expressed strong interest in working more closely with Taiwanese companies like Gallant Ocean to enhance processing capabilities and increase the value of seafood exports between both regions.

We are proud to be part of this meaningful dialogue and look forward to building closer ties between Taiwan and Guam through continued partnership and innovation in the seafood industry.
