Myanmar Sittwe Plant is located on an estuarial island created at the confluence of the Kaladan, Mayu, and Lay Mro rivers emptying into the Bay of Bengal.
Although Burma is still one of the less developed countries in Asia, the area is mainly dominated by natural aquaculture, including shrimp and crabs. Some of inshore fishing and its overall marine resources are abundant
Its main products include Black Tiger Shrimp, White Shrimp, Sea Shrimp, Freshwater Shrimp, Pink Shrimp, Three spot swimming crab, Blue swimming crab, Tiger crab, Black Pomfret, chinese silver pomfret, Silver Pomfret, Aluterus monoceros, etc..
